So I like to use this formula from time to time. Jason and Jim are having a conversation that has nothing to do with the joke. Then mike comes in, Jim changes focus and gives mike the alarm clock, and Jim goes on with the conversation and boom… It comes off a little distracting and you may have to read it a few times, but I like having a few things going on at the same time.
