Well I feel like I’m letting all 6 of you down here. My lack of time is seriously bugging me. But it will have a happy ending I hope. Even if this story line takes me till February!

My second son is due in just 2 weeks! Am I ready? I guess we’ll see… my 30th birthday is just a few days away… so just to say it one last time… “I’m still in my 20’s”… I think I’m getting that “where the fuck did time go” thought in the back of my head right now. And I never mentioned this last year, but in a few days it’ll be a year since my grandpa passed away, we were pretty close and he was an amazing role model and teacher for me and my brother after my dad passed away when I was 3. So grandpa… you are very much missed, and I’m very sorry for running over the garden hose with the riding lawn mower when I was 7… yeah… I did that.

But I’ll never stop drawing this comic… it has come a long way from where I started, and I can’t see any end in sight. So either you love it or you hate it... as people have told me, Life in a comic is here to stay…

I’m actually working on getting some special mechanical pencils, my new 0.5 is pretty nice, and I’ll have a 0.3 soon, so the detail should improve. Also the lead I buy is very hard to find, I use a 0.5 lead that is much darker than an HB, more of a 4B or 5B, but to find that lead I have to buy countless packs from Walmart, and maybe 1 out of 5 little packs might have the defected lead I need… it’s brittle and I chew through it, but it gives the dark lines I need, and blends like a champ. And special ordering is out of the question… I tried. So does anybody need 20 packs of 0.5 lead? Anyone?

And just to mention… yes, my arch nemesis Ricks hair, is Chewbacca… the next comic will be epic… you have my guarantee.

Are you new to LIFE IN A COMIC?

If you're on facebook? Follow this link to join my fan club to help make this site “popular!”. Every day I update here I'll update there. And if you have the need to comment or talk about any of my work… there is the place to do it. So feel free to tell me and everyone else, what you think.

Now when I post a comic, I’m not going to have anybody to proof read it, so there will be a lot of mistakes… spelling… grammar… and art mistakes will be plentiful, feel free to find them for me and I’ll fix what I can. I really am the worst speller on earth.

Also I understand my comic is slanted… this is a scanning issue that will be fixed when I get a new scanner… mine is pretty sweet but still slants… go figure. Donations for a new scanner can be made to my hand, thank-you.

And maybe you didn’t get that comic up there… The solution! Start from the beginning. I have So many running jokes that it’s best to do that. Also you should explore every part of my site, my contact and cast links are super helpful in getting to know my characters. Another thing that helps is feedback. So e-mail me with any hints, tips or FYI’s. I’ll read and reply to all of them.
